Realizing that my reality is different from the reality of people from the poverty line is truly devastating. This episode made me aware that malice disguised as kindness makes the world what it is. What the affluents can’t fathom is that people who are not as well off as them are always on survival mode, they are always worried because they have nothing–and having nothing in this world, especially the basic necessities will slowly kill you from the inside out.

By watching this episode, it made me realize that some people just ignored their privileges, specifically in terms of having a decent food, while others made a ton of effort only to have a food that is spoiled, donated, or even from the garbage which may not last the whole day.
