“Pasilip sa Antipara” made me remember the days when I would stay awake at night just to watch documentaries from iWitness. The team behind BH really captured the weight of food insecurity, poverty, and hunger on the shoulders of our fellow Filipinos in the Pasay area, and I’m sure it’s also the case in its neighboring cities. I just wish that eye-opening documentaries like these and alike would reach the mainstream media again.

This episode of the documentary feature highlighted the current and recurring reality that these people are facing. As an individual who was born with a certain amount of privilege, their predicament showed that living in poverty is the root cause of being unable to afford at least basic necessities, food, shelter, and security.

This episode gave a better perspective about the struggles of our fellow Filipino who only depends on the salary they get from their sidelines, and food donated by other people. It also shows how they deal the problem from hunger, and their ways to cope up with their everyday life.
